Victorian 19th Century Rosewood Etagere Attributed To Thomas Brooks Or J.W Meeks

Gorgeous 19th century Rosewood Etagere Attributed To Thomas Brooks Or J.W Meeks
Dimensions : 105″ Tall X 70.5″ Wide X 22.5″ Deep
This rosewood is spectacular and the quality is the best you can find! This etagere is most likely made by Thomas Brooks in Brooklyn in the mid 19th century however I have seen similar etageres attributed to J.W Meeks on NYC instead. They don’t make furniture like this anymore and the amount of work it must of took to make this etagere must have been substantial! This piece is expertly carved and is still in great condition for its age! This is one of the finest pieces of the gilded age when quality and showmanship was at it’s peak! This is a true work of art and an investment caliber piece!
