This Victorian rosewood parlor table is of the highest quality the craftsmanship and carvings on this table are out of this world and must of been the work of one of premier rosewood works of the time. This table is attributed to either John Henry Belter or Alexander Roux both of NYC in the mid to late 19th century. Only the finest rosewood was used in the the construction of the table and the grain selection on this piece is top notch! This is truly one of the finer pieces of furniture from the gilded age! This piece has been painstakingly French polished to give the rosewood grain a luxurious amber sheen and for the age of this piece it is in wonderful condition!
